At ClickPoint We Don’t Just Build Software… We Build Gingerbread Houses

Making awesome software is cool and all, but let’s be honest, it’s not the absolute most important thing in the world. One of our core values at ClickPoint is to Help Our Community, so  every quarter we hold a community service event so that we can give back as a team. Over the last two years we’ve had some great experiences with the community and these events have become  one of our favorite things that we get to do.

Yesterday, we partnered with Phoenix Youth at Risk to build gingerbread houses with over 50 youth in the Phoenix area. As one of the longest standing community outreach programs in the city, Phoenix Youth at Risk has been providing after-school activities for kids over the past 25 years. Getting to hangout with a bunch of 1st and 2nd graders and help them make gingerbread houses was an amazing experience.

Here are a few pictures from the event, but don’t worry, our skills at developing software are far more advanced than our Gingerbread House Architectural skills
