Overview

The RingCentral integration enables SalesExec users to place outbound calls directly from the CRM interface using their RingCentral account. This integration streamlines the calling process, allowing sales reps to click a phone number in SalesExec and have RingCentral connect the call through their desk phone or softphone, improving efficiency and reducing manual dialing errors.

How It Works
  • Each user enters their RingCentral credentials (username, password, from number, caller ID) in SalesExec settings.
  • When a user clicks to dial a lead, SalesExec calls /Members/User/DialRingCentral?number={phone}.
  • The system builds a ring-out URL and issues a JSONP request to https://service.ringcentral.com/ringout.asp with the user's credentials and the target phone number.
  • RingCentral connects the call between the user's device and the lead.
  • Enabling RingCentral disables other phone integrations (Nextiva, Skype, SIP, Cisco WebDialer) to avoid conflicts.

Enabling RingCentral disables Nextiva, Skype, SIP, and Cisco WebDialer integrations to prevent conflicts. No inbound webhooks or call logging is performed by this integration.
